Punky Tiger Labs' autonomous android ELIOT passes 24 hours of continuous work with no human intervention
A public counter shows more than 29 hours of uninterrupted autonomy in real time, in a full physics simulation of a Booster T2
BURBANK, Calif., October 12, 2026 – Punky Tiger Labs, an AI research and development company focused on AI applied to hardware, today announced that ELIOT, its first prototype of an autonomous android, has passed 24 hours of continuous operation working a booth at a robotics fair, with no human intervention. At the time of this release, the public counter showed more than 29 straight hours and zero operator interventions.
ELIOT works in a full physics simulation in a Booster T2 body, controlled through Booster Robotics' official SDK. Throughout the day it decides what to say and where to go, talks with visitors in English, Spanish and Mandarin, explains honestly what its body can and cannot do, and keeps the same identity and coherence from the first hour to the last. There is no script, no programmed loop and no restart.
ELIOT runs on Trinity PAI, the company's persistent AI, built entirely on its own models. It is not a conversational LLM, and no third-party AI (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or DeepSeek) is involved. Trinity has hosted a 24/7 bilingual radio station for about five months, with more than one million turns.

The milestone follows the eight-hour runs ELIOT completed on four commercial humanoid platforms: Booster T2, AgiBot A3, Unitree G1 and Astribot S1. Punky Tiger Labs is now testing on physical units and developing its own android with social skills.
